Hello and welcome to all the families who are beginning the process of admission applications for their child starting in Reception in September 2025. We know that starting School is a very important and exciting time, and that it can also be a little bit daunting when choosing the right school for your child.
Reception Applications for September 2025
For children born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021.
All parents and carers who wish to apply for their child to join Banks Road Infant & Nursery School, must make an application through their home local authority, Nottinghamshire County Council.
The applications process will be open from 4th November 2024 and closes on 15th January 2025. Parents will be advised of the school place allocation 16th April 2025.
We will contact the parents of successful applicants towards the end of April to invite you to come to school for an information evening, at which we will provide all the information you need to know about starting school.
Come along to our open morning on Saturday 28th September between 9.30am and 11.30am to have a look at our lovely school, meet the staff and have a play in the Reception classrooms and playground. If you would like to see the school in action, we will be offering tours during the school day. The dates of those will be announced shortly.
